…And she saw it there, the dream that she dreamed, could feel her eyes peeling open and ringing like bells, allowing light to flow freely in, allowing the air to dry them, though the ducts in the corners were glistening with clear, thin tears of joy, or something like it.  She literally reached her hand up in the air, felt the wind graizing her fingertips, as she reached for it, so visual was the idea of the “dream”.

“And then what happened?”

She didn’t know what happened after that.
